This has to be my favorite live video of Rush playing Analog Kid. Why? Not because of the video quality, but because of Alex's emotion during the solo. JUST AMAZING.

do you think the lighting men toss a coin to decide which one gets to control geddy's ever-stagnant spotlight and who has to follow alex? What a solo... as usual.

Audio is very good for a 26 yr old bootleg, thanks.
The last pure tour of Rush with Terry Brown & some but not overwhelming keyboard, which were soon to flood the sound of Rush tours from 1984 to 1990 & drive the hardcore Rush fans running for cover

i hear you, I wasn't able to go to concerts until 1985 when I was 16, rock and metal was the devil's music according to my parents, there was no bay area show for hold your fire so didn't see them until the presto tour, wish I could have been a teenager in the 70's and seen all those classic shows, zeppelin, floyd, the who, sabbath, rush, yes, genesis, etc. can't even imagine...lucky bastards

Great video, thanks. Been a Rush fan since 1979, and saw them on this tour at Wembley Arena in London. Best concert I ever saw. They were at their peak in my opinion. They were the only band I heard at the Arena that managed to sound good despite the cow shed acoustics. Thought it was cool that they played "Psycho Killer (Talking Heads)" over the PA just before they came on, like a warm up.
Signals is still my fave Rush album, together with Permanent Wave.
